Our Community Responsibility

We fully acknowledge that without the support of the local communities within which we work, we wouldn’t have a business, below are some of the projects we are currently proud to help fund and support.

Rockinghorse Children’s Charity

The Oakley ‘TriO’ will be Sky Diving 15,000ft on the 12th June 2022 to raise money for Rockinghorse Children’s Charity

We are kindly asking for donations to help reach our goal of raising £2,000 for Rockinghorse Children’s Charity. Anything from a penny to a pound will make a huge difference to families going through the toughest of times, so any contribution to this cause would be greatly appreciated.

Chris Oakley's Bonkers Jungle Challenge!

Chris, along with a like-minded small group of local businesspeople, is embarking upon an unusual challenge that will see them become the first people to paddle board a 240km stretch of the Peruvian Amazon, the area being known as ‘The Jungle of Mirrors’ (The Pacaya Samiria National Reserve).

The challenge takes place between 28th May to 11th June 2022 and will see them paddle boarding around 25km per day and camping each night in the jungle.

Chris has decided to do this for a local Lewes homeless charity called Open Door and any donations would be greatly appreciated.

This project was led by our dear friend Soraya Cotwal-Ray who sadly passed away in 2017. Our thoughts and best wishes are always with her family.
