Oakley Director becomes new President of the BHEAA for 2020

30th December 2019

We are delighted to announce that David Beaken, Director of our Lewes Town & Country branch has selected as the new President of the Brighton and Hove Estate Agents Association. Each year, a senior figure from the local property industry is selected to lead the association and its many activities. The association has been in existence for over 130 years and for all of its time, has been helping to maintain and improve the high standards of the property profession throughout Brighton and Hove. Oakley Property has been a member for many years, and members of our team have held the prestigious president position in the past, as we are very active in the local business community and relish the charity fundraising opportunities that the association brings. David is well-known and respected throughout Lewes and the wider area and will be an excellent President to lead the way in best practice for Sussex estate agencies this year.

David will be welcomed into his new role at the Annual Dinner, which is a fantastic gala dinner with entertainment from local talent including Jack the Lad and the South Coast Soul Revue, who always know how to get the party started! The ball will raise funds for Sussex’s fantastic children’s hospice Chestnut Tree House, to help them continue and grow the very valuable and cherished support they offer to local families in need.

The ball also offers a great networking opportunity for all estate agents in the local area, to share business stories of success and challenges, and talk about exciting projects for 2020. Competition is healthy in our local industry but each agency has its own culture, and we all enjoy getting to know each other better and being able to socialise together for a good cause.

Our team very much look forward to the event each year, however, this year we will be exceptionally proud to celebrate with one of our own leading the association into a great 2020.

Tickets are available at a cost of £65 each for the evening, from Hanover Homes. Email bheaadinner@hanoverhomes.net to book.
