Update – Atelier viewings now open!

Over the next couple of weeks, the boarding on this exciting Lewes regeneration project will be coming down to reveal a characterful new addition to the town’s business scene.

This development, coupled with Lewes’ excellent transport links to London and Brighton, is set to bring new businesses and job opportunities to the Lewes community. The creative business units are already open for viewings and proving attractive to small businesses.

Change in use class

Due to new regulations designed to help businesses, the original class B1 use category has now changed to class E which the Atelier development has applied for. This means that the Atelier units are now open to a wider variety of business types and sizes. Previously, businesses would have needed to apply for a change of use, which is known to have been difficult to achieve, so this is a welcome amendment for the business community at a time where businesses need to be able to adapt quickly.

Interest is already growing

We have already begun to see enquiries from a wide array of businesses, including a hairdressing school, a Pilates studio, a health programme, a soundtrack production company, a film & television business, a web design agency, even an art school & gallery!

Studios range from 600 up to 1,700 sq. ft. and can be combined with others to create a larger space if required. Show suite coming in May. First blocks available as soon as August
