Oakley Property secure planning consent for family housing development on Old Shoreham Road

Oakley Property are delighted to have delivered planning permission for our client Adur Developments on this derelict Brownfield site in central Shoreham: Old Shoreham Road, Shoreham-by-Sea.

The Old Shoreham Road development will consist of 7 contemporary three-bedroom family homes. We acted as planning managers for Adur Developments, and worked collaboratively with Lewis & Co Town Planning Consultants, and HGP Architects.

The Old Shoreham Road Development is located opposite the successful The Waterfront scheme in Shoreham-by-Sea, which we successfully sold for Hyde Housing through 2021. It comprised an exclusive development of 120 riverside homes, comprising 1, 2 and 3 bedroom apartments, 3 bedroom townhouses and stunning 4 bedroom waterfront homes. The Old Shoreham Road site has been vacant for many years. As this development sits at a gateway point to the town centre of Shoreham-by-Sea we consider that it will significantly enhance both the entrance to town, and the final completion of the entrance to The Waterfront scheme which sits directly opposite, when completed.

Since working collaboratively with Worthing & Adur District Council Planning team we are now looking forward to delivering this exciting family housing development in this historic coastal town.
