Shoreham Waterfront Planning Appeal Success!

13th June 2023

We are delighted to announce that we have secured planning permission through an Appeal Decision for Cross Stone Regeneration.

The planning appeal is to build 34 new apartments and a retail unit on the last remaining development plot at the successful Shoreham Waterfront Development.

We were appointed as Planning Managers and Viability Consultants for this attractive landmark development and were delighted to work with Joseph Pearson and Luke Carter of Lewis & Co Planning Consultants, Simon Robinson of HGP Architects and Steve Reeves of Reeves Transport in delivering the planning permission.

Despite significant attempts at consultation, the application was undetermined by Adur District Council. We appealed on the basis of non-determination in January and attended the Appeal Hearing in mid-May, with a quick decision from the Inspector. You can read the planning appeal decision here.

The scheme will provide 34 private market one & two-bed units and no affordable housing. Having recently acquired new premises for our Shoreham New Homes office, this is a great new site for us to be getting on with! We look forward to finishing the Waterfront scheme for all the residents.
