We were delighted to host our Annual Oakley Property + UTB Developer Forum Lunch recently at The Ivy in The Lanes, Brighton. 

We are so pleased that this event is becoming a regular fixture in the Land & New Homes calendar for many of our developers clients who see the value in sharing ideas with fellow developers as well as learning from the high quality speakers we have managed to secure through our partners UTB Bank. UTB bank specialise in development funding. This years speaker was Michelle Parry, Head of Development Finance South East, at Homes England.

The audience were clearly gripped by Michelle’s talk on how the Government through Homes England are looking to actively support SME Developers, which hits the sweet spot of much of our client base. She was keen to get across how they can finance SME developer schemes to ensure the delivery of new homes hits their targets and she made an interesting announcement on the release of a targeted land bank specifically for SME developers, not the major house builders.
