Oakley Property joint main sponsors of 2024 Speedee-Boarding Charity event

Speedee-Boarding is just a great fun day for everyone. We took part in 2022 with a team of intrepid paddle boarders and we just laughed all day. Entrants don’t need to have any experience and we took both novices and accomplished paddle boarders, and to be honest, it makes no difference. The aim is that you get from one side of the lagoon to the other as quickly as you can in a relay, without taking a plunge in a few feet of water! So if your company is thinking of getting involved, the only ability your going to need is to laugh at yourself! Working with Neil is always great fun and he has done some whacky and crazy adventures in his time which are inspirational. I’ve been lucky enough to accompany Neil on two of these and found that Speedee-Boarding is a way to get your staff to experience a bit of adventure, and maybe get a passion for a new sport. Most of our team had until the day never set foot on a paddle board, but they had the benefit of being able to get some training on the day. I had just come back from a paddle board expedition with Neil to the Amazon and thought I’ll ace this, only to find my board had been nobbled with the fin removed and I came in last! This is an event for anyone of any ability to come along to, but if being on the water is not for you just come along for what is quite a spectacle, and a great BBQ!
